Legislation comes first
The field of assisted reproduction, and particularly the IVF method (in vitro fertilisation), is very strictly monitored and regulated worldwide. At BioCouriers we know and follow the requirements of each country in detail. We ourselves fall under the jurisdiction of the European Union, namely Regulation 2004/23/EC, 2006/17/EC and 2006/86/EC defining good distribution practice requirements. We regularly undergo an in-depth audit focused on quality control, procedures and processes related to tissue and cell distribution activities.
We have experience, we train and follow trends
All our staff possess the appropriate skills and experience necessary to carry out tasks associated with transporting embryos, sperm, eggs and other genetic material, and undergo regular professional training.
We also follow trends in the field of cell transportation and medicine and put them into practice according to the recommendations of professional societies and scientific knowledge. Our long-term goal is to increase the provided services standard.
We carefully check the cell transport equipment
Before each transport we check the integrity of the transport’s outer container and the functionality of the temperature measuring device. We also regularly calibrate the transport cryo-container and temperature logger to verify their proper functioning.
