1) INFORMING CLINICS
Before being able to start arranging the transport of cells, clients needs to inform the sending and the receiving institution about their intention. 2) RELATED DOCUMENTATION
Both institutions exchange documentation related to the cells to be transported, including blood test results. Once this exchange is complete, transport plan is set and the date for the cells to be shipped is scheduled.
3) CELLS READY TO BE SHIPPED
Once appropriate documentation is approved and shipping plan set, cells are prepared for transport in laboraty. To ensure maximum transport safety, only top-class devices from world-renowned manufacturers are used: liquid nitrogen containers, specially designed for safe shipping purposes.
4) SHIPPING CONTAINERS
A part of the transport cryocontainer is a temperature measuring device constantly monitoring the temperature inside the container, keeping the level about -196 ° C. 5) SAFETY MEASURES
Prior to each transport detailed control procedure takes place, revising the shipping container’s integrity and the functionality of the temperature measuring device to ensure maximum safety.
After careful preparation and inspection of all transport devices, the transport of cells to the destination clinic starts. The container is placed in an another protective container. Depending on the type of transport it is secured against unwanted movements and vibrations. 6) COURIER ASSIGNED
The courier assigned to each shipment keeps the container close by all the time, personally ensuring correct manipulation and monitoring the temperature inside the container. When using air transport, the courier consistently supervises compliance of the exemption from the airport X-ray control, which could irreversibly damage the cells.
7) REPORT
After shipment reaches its destination, client is informed with no undue delay samples were successfully delivered to the clinic. Final shipping report is created to provide all parties with.
